2013 Congress of California Seniors Convention
Sacramento, CA - October 7th and 8th, 2013

CCCF is pleased that one of its partner organizations, The Congress of California Seniors (CCS), will hold its Constitutional Convention on October 7th and 8th, 2013. The convention will take place in Sacramento at the Holiday Inn Capitol Plaza, and will include presentations and key-note addresses by the President of CCS, Lt. Governor Gavin Newsom, Attorney General Kamala Harris, and more. The purpose of this event is to discuss and consider regulations that will affect issues such as restoring state budget cuts, ending elder abuse, protecting Medicare in the National health reform debate, and other topics that impact seniors in California.

The Congress of California Seniors is a statewide organization of hundreds of thousands of seniors and those who care about them. In addition to providing educational services and consumer information to seniors, CCS advocates on behalf of seniors before the California State Legislature.
