Managing Your Money
Livermore, CA – June 24, 2014

CCCF gave a presentation on Managing Your Money in both English and Spanish at Owls Landing Apartment Complex on Tuesday, June 24, 2014. A total of 13 families attended the seminar and participated in the activities on budgeting. All attendees were asked to complete a demographic survey on what they knew about budgeting and managing their money before and after the seminar. Seventy five percent of the attendees did not have or used a monthly budget prior to attending the seminar. Owls Landing Apartment Complex is a low-income, section 8 housing complex with 55% of its residents Latino. The seminar will be put on by a partnership between Tri-Valley Housing Opportunity Center, Consumer Credit Counseling Foundation, Inc., Horizons, Livermore Rotary and the City of Livermore, and will be the second of a three part seminar course.
