Horizon Family Counseling Project
Livermore, CA – May 06, 2014

On May 6th, CCCF partnered with Tri Valley Housing Opportunity Center to give a presentation at the Parent Project meeting about upcoming seminars on Financial Scams & Fraud, Budgeting and Credit. Those seminars are being put on by a partnership between Tri Valley Housing Opportunity Center, Consumer Credit Counseling Foundation, Horizons, Livermore Rotary and the City of Livermore. Horizons began this 12-week parent training; an award winning model with a proven track record, designed specifically for parents of challenging, strong-willed or out-of-control adolescents. The Parent Project course is offered in Spanish and is comprised entirely of Latinos.

Ishwinder Judge, of CCCF had this to say: “It has been great partnering with TVHOC, Horizons, Livermore Rotary and the City of Livermore. These family counseling projects are very important, because when there is stability within members of a household, that stability can work to make its way to other aspects of the family, including finances. We were please to support in any way we could.”
