Senior Financial Safety: Scams to AvoidHayward, CA – May 2, 2013
Kayla and Gen were pleased to be the keynote speakers at the Hayward Area Recreation and Park District's 7th Annual Senior Health & Wellness Resource Fair, held in Castro Valley. The variety of vendors from healthcare, transportation, housing, estate planning, home care and recreational markets attracted a great turnout to the event.
Members of the senior community brought their interest in learning more about scams and fraud schemes, as well as other relevant questions or concerns they had to the presentation. Kayla & Gen covered various topics including: credit card fraud, cyber scams, skimming, phishing, other forms of financial exploitation, and how to avoid scams and fraud.
