Senior Financial Safety: Scams to Avoid

November 20, 2013

Wittenberg Manor II, Hayward

CCCF will present “Senior Financial Safety: Scams to Avoid” at Hayward’s Wittenberg Manor on November 20th, 2013. Due to the success of CCCF’s previous seminar at Wittenberg Manor I, the staff requested that CCCF expand to their sister facility Wittenberg II with a presentation that addresses financial scams that target seniors. This presentation helps build awareness of the many types of financial scams that exist, why seniors are often targeted, and what preventative measures can be taken to protect one’s finances from fraud. In order to accommodate Wittenberg’s Mandarin-speaking residents, CCCF’s financial education team arranged for the presentation to be fully translated. The seminar will be done first in English, followed by the Mandarin version, which will be presented by CCCF’s translator.
